Sólo la he probado una vez, el viernes, y he hecho 18 kms, pero no sé, mañana la volveré a probra a ver si me voy acostumbrando, pero creo que las nimbus tienen mejor amortiguación.

hola, respecto al tallaje de las brooks es completamente igual al de asics. si usas el 8.5 de asics, compra el 8.5 de brooks q tambien son los 27,5 cms al igual q asics, puma , saucony, etc. Yo tengo unas brooks y el mismo numero y tallan igual. Alguna q cambia un poco es new balance, pero en este caso te van a ir igualitas. un saludo

Estoy pensando en comprarme estas zapas, actualmente estoy usando una Asics nimbus 11 de las que estoy muy contento, pero en breve tengo que cambiar. En asics uso la 8.5UK, 43.5EUR, 27.5cm. He visto que la talla de las brooks son:
8.5UK, 43EUR, 27cm
9UK, 44EUR 28cm
9.5, 44.5, 28.5cm
He leido algun comentario como que las brooks calzan un poco mas pequeñas que las asics y no se que numero coger… El caso es que me va a resultar dificil probarmelas, ya que donde vivo no hay tiendas tan especializadas.
No se si alguien puede comentar este aspecto…

vuelco a escribir sobre esta zapatilla: despues de unos meses, la capa de EVA de la suela sigue con sus propiedades, la suela en si no tiene desgaste serio y nose ha roto por ningun lado, asi que creo que esta al 70% aún… y eso que la uso 5 veces a la semana!

Yo estoy buscando una zapatilla con gran amortiguación pues estoy recuperandome de una fractura por sobrecarga del astragalo y cuando empieze de nuevo, en mi “obligado” asfalto necesito que el impacto en el tobillo sea mínimo. La tendré muy presente.

No hay mucho mas que añadir a lo que has dicho:
-No te asaras el pie en los dias de calor pero tampoco notaras excesivamente el frio, ventila sin ser excesivamente frescuela. Tiene unos paneles especificos de ventilacion a los lados y el resto es tejido ligero
-la horma es una pasada, te adaptas enseguida y (al menos a mi) no produce excesivos roces iniciales… a mi ninguno!
-la zona del talon es un pelin mas alta de lo normal, ojo con los calcetines excesivamente bajos, rozaran
-la zapatilla parece “zapatillon” por la anchura… y puede que lo sea, pero tambien se nota, es mucho mas estable que otras
-aunque el dibujo de la suela parezca que no esta muy pronunciado y se pueda gastar a la minima de cambio, las mias llevan ya unos meses conmigo, a unos 50kms a la semana por asfalto, y estan a un 85%
-sobre la mediasuela, tres cuartos de lo mismo, el gel (adn se llama creo) que lleva se nota: amortigua a ritmo lento y propulsa sin hacer oscilar el pie a buen ritmo
-la lengueta es tirando a pequeña, y tiende a escorarse hacia un lado (y eso que tiene una forma para evitarlo), pero no por ello molesta o roza, aunque sean tiradas largas
-la zapatilla tiende a recoger mucho el pie, se nota como “abrigado” y puede hacerse raro, pero va de cine.
-es muy “aguerrida”!, si pillas un chaparron o arena al correr por la playa, la zapa no se enguarra y queda hecha un cristo
-tiene una pieza rigida entre el talon y la planta, en teoria para ayudar a un lanzamiento uniforme, sin que se deforme la zapa y sea armonioso, sin oscilaciones de una zapa voladora.. y se nota, es muy estable tanto en lanzamiento como en aterrizaje de la zancada.
..en fin, una zapa tope de gama de una marca top line y a un precio razonable, nada astronomico como algunas zapas japonesas o americanas de iguales caracteristicas.
2 curiosidades: su decoracion esta inspirada en la cultura maorí, como explican en la misma plantilla…. y en ambas zapas, en la suela, zona de talon tienen una inscripcion, una en ingles y otra en aleman:
“running is in my DNA / Laufen ist in meiner DNA” -> el running esta en mi ADN!
